Job Description

A Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures, furniture, fixtures, and fittings in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials.

Install doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, partitions, and flooring.

Repair damaged wooden structures and fixtures.

Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines safely.

Ensure all work is completed according to quality and safety standards.

Take accurate measurements and estimate material requirements.

Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other workers.

Follow workplace safety rules and company procedures.
