Position: Carpenter / Woodwork Service Professional
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contractual
Location: On-site (Customer Home Service)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to provide professional carpentry and woodwork services at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in furniture installation, repair, and custom woodwork, along with the ability to deliver safe, precise, and customer-friendly service during home visits.

Key Responsibilities

Perform carpentry and woodwork services, including but not limited to:

Furniture installation, assembly, and dismantling
Repair and maintenance of wooden furniture and fittings
Door, window, and cupboard fixing and alignment
Modular furniture installation and minor modifications
Drilling, cutting, polishing, and finishing work
Wooden shelf, cabinet, and fixture installation
Measurement, marking, and material assessment
Replacement of damaged or worn-out wooden parts

Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of carpentry tools and equipment.

Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures during all service visits.

Provide clear explanations to customers regarding work scope, materials, and maintenance tips.

Complete assigned jobs within scheduled timeframes.

Maintain professional behavior and high workmanship standards.

Report job status, issues, or customer feedback to the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in carpentry or woodwork services.
Knowledge of tools, materials, fittings, and carpentry techniques.
Ability to read measurements and execute work accurately.
Understanding of safety practices and tool handling.
ITI certification or formal carpentry training is preferred.
