Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and framing.
Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures.
Ensure work meets building codes and safety regulations.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members and other tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, etc.) on-site.
Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean.
Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
Good physical condition, stamina, and manual dexterity.
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training is a plus.
