Key Responsibilities

• Reading plans:

  Interpret blueprints and project plans to understand construction requirements. 

• Measuring and cutting:

  Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to specified sizes. 

• Assembly:

  Fasten materials together using tools like nails, screws, dowels, and glue to construct frameworks and other wooden components. 

• Installation:

  Install various wooden structures and fixtures, including walls, floors, doorframes, trim, and custom cabinets. 

• Repair and maintenance:

  Inspect and replace damaged structures, fixtures, and other wooden elements. 

• Finishing:

  Finish and install detailed woodworking, such as railings.
