Baker – Café

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and responsible Baker to join our café team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake cakes, cookies, muffins, brownies, breads, pastries, and other bakery products as per the café menu.

Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in taste, texture.

Prepare daily bakery production as per requirements.

Maintain proper stock levels of bakery ingredients and inform management about shortages.

Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of ingredients.

Check the quality and freshness of all ingredients before use.

Coordinate with the kitchen and café team for smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and ingredient handling.

Ability to prepare a variety of bakery products independently.

Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.

Attention to detail, consistency, and time management.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Staff meals/food will not be provided by the café.

Employee must maintain personal hygiene and professional grooming standards.

Must follow the café's rules, policies, and working procedures.

Punctuality, discipline, and responsibility are mandatory.
