Key responsibilities
Staff and operations management: Hire, train, and schedule staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times. Manage staff performance and resolve issues.
Customer service: Ensure excellent customer service, handle client complaints professionally, and maintain high-quality service standards.
Financial management: Manage finances, track expenses and revenue, process payments, and meet sales targets.
Inventory and maintenance: Monitor and manage stock levels for products and supplies, ordering new stock as needed. Arrange for regular equipment maintenance and ensure hygiene standards are met.
Marketing and promotion: Promote salon services, products, and special offers through social media and other channels.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a salon or similar management role.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of cosmetology procedures and products.
Basic bookkeeping and business finance skills.
Ability to handle customer complaints and demands gracefully.
