Nail Art Technician

Key responsibilities

• Nail services: Perform a wide range of services including manicures, pedicures, gel, acrylics, and other nail treatments.

• Nail art: Decorate nails with various designs, gems, or other embellishments.

• Client consultation: Advise clients on nail care, recommend treatments, and help them select colors and designs that suit their style.

• Nail health: Assess the condition of clients' nails and inform them about nail health and care tips.

• Hygiene and sanitation: Clean, sterilize, and maintain a sanitary workstation and all tools between clients.

• Customer service: Provide a positive customer experience, manage appointments, and build relationships with clients.

• Sales: Upsell beauty products and additional services.

• Administrative tasks: Handle payments, answer phones, and assist with salon upkeep. 

Required skills

• Proficiency in various nail techniques (gel, acrylic, nail art)

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Creativity and a good eye for detail

• Knowledge of sanitation practices and hygiene standards

• Organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with current nail trends and color theory
