Junior Beautician

• A Junior Beautician assists senior staff and performs basic beauty services like hair styling, makeup application, manicures/pedicures, waxing/threading, and facials, focusing on client consultation, maintaining hygiene, booking appointments, stocking supplies, and learning advanced techniques to build expertise in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Client Services: Greet clients, perform basic beauty treatments (hair washing/styling, makeup, nails, hair removal), and provide skincare/beauty advice.
• Support & Assistance: Assist senior beauticians, clean workstations, sterilize tools, and manage salon upkeep.
• Operations: Handle appointment scheduling, manage client records, process payments, and monitor product inventory.
• Sales & Promotion: Recommend and sell beauty products, cross-sell services, and support marketing efforts.
• Learning & Development: Attend training, stay updated on trends, and learn new techniques to enhance skills.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of beauty services and products.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Professional appearance and positive demeanor.
• Cosmetology certification or relevant diploma is often preferred.
