Job Description – Hairdresser / Hair Stylist

Job Title: Hairdresser / Hair Stylist

Department: Salon

Location: Santacruz / Bandra / Vakola

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform haircuts for women, men, and children as per client requirements.

2. Provide hair styling services such as blow-dry, ironing, curling, and party hairstyles.

3. Perform hair colouring, root touch-ups, global colour, highlights, and streaks.

4. Provide hair treatments such as hair spa, keratin, smoothening, hair Botox, and other chemical treatments, as per training and expertise.

5. Conduct hair and scalp consultations and recommend suitable services.

6. Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitisation of tools and workstations.

7. Recommend suitable hair care products and treatments to clients.

8. Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction.

9. Follow salon SOPs, service protocols, pricing, and professional standards.

10. Maintain hair product stock and inform the manager about low stock or required supplies.

11. Coordinate with the salon manager and team to ensure smooth daily operations.

12. Support salon offers, promotions, and client retention activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Professional training in hairdressing or hairstyling.

- Good knowledge of haircuts, styling, colouring, and hair treatments.

- Good communication and client-handling skills.

- Knowledge of hair types, scalp conditions, and aftercare recommendations.

- Ability to work in a team and maintain professional discipline.

- Prior salon experience preferred.
