Amayr Salon is a premium grooming and beauty salon dedicated to delivering high-quality services in a professional and welcoming environment. We are growing our team and looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Junior Male Hairdresser to join us.

Role Overview

The Junior Male Hairdresser will assist senior stylists and independently handle client grooming services. The candidate should be technically skilled, client-focused, and committed to maintaining the salon's standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts, trims, fades, and styling for male clients.

• Carry out beard grooming, shaping, and trimming as per client requirements.

• Assist senior stylists with advanced hair treatments and services.

• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and suggest suitable styles.

• Keep workstations clean, hygienic, and well-organised at all times.

• Ensure clients are comfortable and satisfied throughout their visit.

• Maintain and handle salon tools and equipment with care.

• Support the team during busy hours and peak periods as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of male haircutting techniques (scissor cut, clipper fade, etc.).

• Familiarity with beard grooming and styling tools.

• Good communication and client-handling skills.

• Well-groomed, presentable, and professional in appearance.

• Willingness to learn and grow under senior stylist guidance.

• Prior experience in a salon or barbershop is preferred; freshers with relevant training may apply.

Professional Workplace Rules

• Punctuality is mandatory — report to the salon on time for every shift.

• Maintain personal hygiene and a neat, professional appearance at all times.

• Treat every client with respect, patience, and courtesy.

• Use salon products and tools responsibly; avoid wastage.

• Follow all instructions given by the Salon Manager and senior staff.

• Mobile phone usage during client service is not permitted.

• Any leave must be informed and approved in advance.

• Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.

What We Offer

• Salary of ■15,000 – ■20,000 per month based on skill and experience.

• 4 off days per month — fixed and consistent.
