Job Role Overview
Position: Hair Stylist
Experience Required: 3 to 5 years of hands-on salon experience
Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass (Certified course or diploma in hairdressing is a plus)
Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation: Consult directly with customers to understand their preferences, analyze hair texture and face shape, and recommend suitable haircuts, styles, or colors.
Hair Services: Perform precision haircuts, blow-drying, styling, coloring, highlights, straightening, and chemical treatments.
Hair Care & Treatments: Apply nourishing masks, scalp therapies, and conditioning treatments.
Product Recommendations: Suggest appropriate salon hair care and styling products to clients.
Hygiene & Station Management: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work station and tools according to salon safety standards.
Customer Retention: Build strong, positive relationships with regular and walk-in clients to encourage repeat visits.
Requirements & Skills
Minimum 10th standard education.
3 to 5 years of proven working experience as a hair stylist or hairdresser in a salon.
Good communication and active listening skills to consult customers effectively.
Up-to-date knowledge of modern hair trends, styling tools, and coloring techniques.
Friendly, professional attitude with a customer-first approach.
