Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights

• Administering Traditional Therapies: Expertly perform a wide range of Ayurvedic treatments, with a focus on Panchakarma procedures (like Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Basti, Nasya, Pizhichil, etc.).

• Patient Care: Assist the Ayurvedic doctor in treatment delivery, monitor patient comfort and progress, and ensure a warm, healing environment.

• Hygiene & Setup: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for treatment rooms, equipment, and oil preparation.

• Consultation & Communication: Interact respectfully with clients, explain treatment procedures, and promote Ayurvedic principles for a healthy lifestyle.

1. Core Ayurvedic Skills (Technical)

• Panchakarma Expertise: Proficiency in administering all major Panchakarma therapies and allied treatments.

• Massage Mastery: Skilled in various Ayurvedic massage techniques specific to different Doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and conditions.

• Knowledge of Herbs & Oils: Understanding the properties and correct application of various medicated oils and herbal pastes (Udvartana).

• Hygiene & Safety: Strict adherence to sanitation and safety protocols in a clinical setting.

2. Soft Skills & Professional Attributes

• Compassion & Empathy: A genuinely caring attitude toward patients and a focus on their overall comfort and experience.

• Strong Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with the doctor, the team, and the patients (explaining treatments, diet, and lifestyle tips).

• Physical Stamina & Dexterity: The physical ability to perform therapeutic massages and procedures efficiently and smoothly for extended periods.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 0 - 2 years of experience. Familiarity with skin care therapies like moisturising, exfoliating, peeling etc., and knowledge of hair removal techniques is a must. In this role, you will ensure that the clients receive high-quality personalized cosmetic services. A degree in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology or a relevant field is a plus.
