As we expand our footprint in domestic and international markets, we are looking for a dynamic Tender Manager to lead our bidding and tendering efforts across government and private sectors.
Job Responsibilities
Tender/Bid Management:
Identify relevant tenders (government and private) from various platforms (GeM, eProcurement portals, etc.)
Review tender documents and assess eligibility, feasibility, and risks
Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Design, Production, Commercial) for technical and commercial inputs
Prepare and submit high-quality technical and commercial bids within deadlines
Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all required documents, certificates, and formats are up to date and compliant with tender requirements
Handle vendor registrations and pre-qualification processes with various clients and PSUs
Client Interaction:
Communicate with tender authorities or clients to clarify bid specifications
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required
Follow up on bid status and handle post-submission queries
Process Improvement:
Maintain a tender tracker and MIS reports
Improve internal processes to streamline bid preparation and submission
Key Skills Required
Strong understanding of government tendering process (GeM, eProc portals, PSUs, etc.)
Excellent documentation and project coordination skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and basic ERP usage
Ability to manage tight deadlines and work collaboratively across teams
Qualifications
Graduate in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering/bidding, preferably in industrial engineering or valve industry
