Position: Production Supervisor

Department: Production

Industry: Injection Moulding (Plastic Packaging)

Location: Bagwada, Vapi

📌 Job Summary

Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, managing manpower, ensuring quality output, achieving production targets, and maintaining discipline and safety on the shop floor in injection moulding operations.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Production & Operations

• Daily production planning as per targets and schedules

• Supervise injection moulding machines and production processes

• Ensure optimum machine utilization and minimize downtime

• Coordinate with maintenance team for machine breakdowns

🔹 Manpower Management

• Allocate manpower shift-wise

• Monitor operator performance and discipline

• Ensure attendance and proper shift handover

• Train new operators on machine handling and safety

🔹 Quality Control

• Ensure production as per quality standards

• Monitor rejection, wastage, and take corrective actions

• Coordinate with Quality department for inspections

🔹 Safety & Housekeeping

• Ensure safety rules are followed on shop floor

• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards

• Ensure use of PPE by operators

🔹 Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily production reports

• Update production, rejection, and downtime records

• Report issues to Production Manager

🎓 Educational Qualification:

• CIPET (Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology)
  Diploma / Post Diploma / Certificate in Plastic Engineering / Injection Moulding / Polymer Technology

• ITI / Diploma in Plastic Technology with relevant injection moulding experience Knowledge of plastic raw materials and moulding processes

• Ability to handle manpower and production pressure

• Basic knowledge of production reports and Excel

⭐ Preferred Candidate

• Experience in plastic packaging industry

• Local candidate from Vapi / Silvassa area preferred
