Key Responsibilities:
Supervisor Responsibilities:
o Supervise daily operational activities and ensure work is completed as per schedule.
o Allocate tasks to team members and monitor work performance.
o Maintain discipline, workplace hygiene, and safety on the floor.
o Train and guide staff on proper machine handling and operational procedures.
o Coordinate with departments such as Production, Quality, and Store for smooth workflow.
o Prepare daily and weekly activity reports for
o Management.
o Conduct preventive maintenance of machines as per schedule.
o Diagnose mechanical or electrical failures and carry out immediate repairs.
o Ensure all machinery (like packaging machines, conveyors, sealing machines, weighing units, etc.) are running at optimal efficiency.
o Maintain records of repair work, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory.
o Coordinate with external vendors/technicians when advanced servicing is required.
o Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards.
o Reduce downtime by implementing effective maintenance practices.
Required Skills:
Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering field.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills
o 3–7 years in machine maintenance, production supervision, or related roles.
o Experience with manufacturing/industrial machinery. ( pulverizer machine, Various Grinding machines, Food products Packing Machines, Rewinders and inkjet Industrial printers etc.,)
Leadership and team management.
Problem-solving and decision-making.
Preferred Skills:
o Good analytical and problem-solving ability
o Basic understanding of business operations and functions
o Attention to detail and time management skills
o Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
o Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical systems.
o Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
o Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
o Basic knowledge of PLC or automation systems (optional but preferred).
o Equipment Maintenance Expertise – Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, preventive and breakdown maintenance.
o Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Ability to quickly identify faults and implement effective solutions.
o Technical Documentation – Skilled in maintaining accurate records, logs, and maintenance reports.
o Understanding of Automation – Basic knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and automated machinery (preferred).
