Responsibilities of Plant Supervisor
Supervise daily plant operations and manpower deployment
Ensure smooth production as per target and schedule
Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance activities
Maintain quality standards of products and processes
Ensure safety rules, PPE usage, and workplace discipline
Check raw material availability and control wastage
Maintain production reports, shift reports, and records
Train workers on SOPs, safety, and process improvements
Identify operational issues and resolve them quickly
Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and store teams
Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices
Ensure cleanliness and proper housekeeping in plant area
Reduce downtime and improve productivity
Monitor attendance, shift handover, and worker performance
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory norms
