Position-Supervisor
Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical, or Electrical
Experience: 1–5 years in railway projects or infrastructure supervision.
Role Overview:
The Supervisor will oversee daily site activities for railway projects, ensuring work is
carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical standards and project
timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise on-site railway construction, maintenance, and repair activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, railway regulations, and company procedures.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and workers to execute scheduled tasks.
Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment required at the site.
Conduct site inspections, check work quality, and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
Prepare daily progress reports and update project managers on work status.
Resolve on-site issues, delays, or hazards promptly.
Ensure proper installation of railway components like tracks, sleepers, and signalin equipment (as applicable).
Train and guide workers on safety protocols and work processes.
Maintain documentation related to site activities, attendance, and material usage.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of railway safety standards and on-site practices.
Ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Good reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work at project sites and in shifts as required.
