Service Advisor - Bodyshop

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Handling

   • Receive customers and understand vehicle accident/damage-related concerns.

   • Explain the repair process, estimated timelines, and applicable charges to customers.

   • Maintain professional communication and ensure a positive customer experience.

2. Vehicle Inspection & Job Card

   • Inspect vehicles for accident/body damage and prepare detailed job cards.

   • Identify visible and additional damages and coordinate for necessary approvals.

   • Prepare repair estimates in coordination with the Bodyshop team.

3. Insurance Coordination

   • Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors for accident claims.

   • Arrange survey/inspection of vehicles and follow up for claim approvals.

   • Ensure required documents are collected and submitted for claim processing.

4. Repair Coordination

   • Coordinate with Denting, Painting, Mechanical, Parts and other Bodyshop teams for timely completion of jobs.

   • Monitor vehicle repair progress against the committed delivery timeline.

   • Follow up on parts availability and pending repair activities.

5. Customer Updates

   • Keep customers informed about repair status, additional damages, approval delays, parts availability, and revised delivery timelines.

   • Obtain customer approval wherever additional work or cost is involved.

6. Quality & Delivery

   • Coordinate with the Bodyshop Manager and Quality team for final inspection.

   • Ensure the vehicle is repaired as per required quality standards before delivery.

   • Explain completed repairs and billing to the customer at the time of delivery.

   • Ensure customer satisfaction and obtain feedback.

7. Documentation & System Updates

   • Maintain accurate job cards, estimates, insurance documents, approvals, invoices, and delivery records.

   • Ensure timely updating of job status in the dealership/DMS system.

   • Maintain proper records of pending and completed bodyshop jobs.

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 1 - 6 years of experience.
