Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement and purchasing activities of the organization. The role involves developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, and ensuring that all purchases meet quality and cost-effectiveness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store and production teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Ensure timely procurement of materials and services required for operations.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Evaluate supplier performance and recommend necessary actions.

Collaborate with internal departments to understand their material needs.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Handle purchase orders, billing issues, and payment coordination.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.

Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Inventory, etc.).

Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
