Job Description

Sr Purchase Manager

· Sr Purchase Manager Develop a new Vendor

· Sr Purchase Manager Analyzing current and future spend, undertaking industry research, tracking future trends in industry and technology.

· Develop a cost effective Vendor data base

· Sr Purchase Manager Processing with the Vendor Registration

· Procurement

· Conduct market study and validate rates with competitive quotes for various goods / materials/ services

· Negotiate with vendors / channel partners for procurement within the targeted budget

· Sr Purchase Manager To ensure procurement of materials at competitive rates

· Material Management

· To ensure procurement of materials is as per scheduled time in coordination with production and site.

· To ensure steady & timely supply of material as per plan

· Exercise optimum inventory control

· Verify the requirements from the Project / Sites / factory and plan the procurement of materials for on time delivery

· Documentation, Systems & Process Management

· Develop Invoice Formats/Systems as per prevailing norms to facilitate accurate P.O. generation.

· Develop and implement purchase and contract management instructions, Systems, policies, and procedure

· Recognize Taxation/Commercial and other Terms critical for procurement of materials at feasible rates and terms.

· Agreements/ Annual Maintenance Contracts for various Admin facilities related services.

· Maintaining systematic records and audit trails of quotations, orders, contracts, agreements, payments.

· Ensuring compliance of all statutory requirement related to procurement function

· Conducting periodic internal audit of procurement function.

· Validate invoices as per agreed terms and resolve any invoicing / payment issues

· Research and Development

· Research for Machine, technology and material management

· Value Addition

· Achieving productivity improvement with value added operations

· Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in Operation, Maintenance Cost

· Innovative Idea

· Sr Purchase Manager complete Other tasks as assigned from time to time
