Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for electrical, electronic, and mechanical components (battery cells, motors, controllers, wiring harness, semiconductors, etc.).

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms to optimize procurement costs.

  • Develop long-term vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply.

  Material & Inventory Management

  • Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and R&D projects.

  • Maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.

  • Ensure timely availability of components for manufacturing and testing activities.

  Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all purchased materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with the design and manufacturing teams to resolve component issues.

  Cost Optimization & Reporting

  • Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and alternatives.

  • Monitor price trends for EV-related raw materials and components.

  • Prepare periodic purchase reports, vendor performance analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.

• Experience: 2–4 years in procurement, purchase engineering, or supply chain (preferably in EV/automotive/manufacturing domain).

Technical Expertise

• Knowledge of EV components (battery packs, BMS, motors, controllers, wiring harness, sensors).

• Familiarity with manufacturing consumables, tools, and raw materials.

• Understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials), technical specifications, and sourcing.

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 0 - 6+ years Experience.
