Job Title: Purchase Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities for the company. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely procurement of materials required for operations such as Electrical Control Panels, Projects, and Automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies.
Identify and evaluate reliable vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and project teams.
Ensure timely procurement of electrical and automation components.
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Coordinate with engineering, estimation, and project teams for material requirements.
Ensure quality and cost efficiency in procurement.
Track market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Required Skills
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation
Good communication and coordination skills
Strong analytical and decision-making ability
Familiarity with ERP / Tally / procurement software
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Business Administration
Certification in Supply Chain or Procurement is an added advantage
Experience
5+ years of experience in procurement or purchase management
Experience in Electrical Control Panels, Industrial Automation, and Project-based purchasing preferred
