Job Description

The Purchase Manager is responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery at optimal costs. The role requires strong vendor management, analytical skills, and knowledge of supply chain processes.Key Responsibilities:Source and procure FMCG categories (food, grocery, personal care, household, etc.)Negotiate rates, contracts, and credit terms with suppliersEnsure optimal inventory levels and prevent stock-outsCoordinate with store/warehouse teams for replenishmentManage supplier relationships, performance, and deliveriesTrack market trends, competitor pricing, and new product launchesPrepare and maintain purchase records and reports
