Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock without overstocking or stockouts.
Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure seamless inventory flow.
Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce purchasing expenses.
Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues related to material quality or supplier performance.
Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years in procurement or purchasing within the metals or manufacturing industry.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of metal products, specifications, and industry standards.
Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in Marathi is a plus.
Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
