Job Responsibilities
Source vendors for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fabrication, and industrial components.
Float RFQs, compare quotations, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, and Project teams for material requirements.
Ensure timely procurement and follow up with vendors for on-time deliveries.
Identify alternate vendors and cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain purchase records, vendor details, and MIS reports.
Requirements
3–6 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, automation, or capital machinery industries.
Strong vendor management, negotiation, and commercial skills.
Good understanding of procurement planning, inventory, and supply chain coordination.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
SAP/ERP knowledge is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
