Job Summary
A Purchase Incharge is responsible for managing the purchasing activities of the company, ensuring timely procurement of materials, products, and services at the best quality and price. The role includes, purchase order handling, inventory coordination, and maintaining procurement records.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process purchase orders.
Ensure timely procurement of materials as per requirement.
Maintain records of inventory/stock.
Coordinate with production teams for new purchase requirement.
Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory.
Follow up with vendors regarding deliveries and pending orders.
Ensure purchased items meet quality standards.
Required Skills
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of procurement and inventory processes.
Good understanding of MS Excel.
Ability to work under deadlines.
Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in purchasing/procurement preferred.
