Job Summary

V Square Developers is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Civil Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of construction materials, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of civil construction materials, vendor management, and inventory coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, bricks, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials.

• Identify and develop reliable vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships.

• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up until materials are delivered.

• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and the accounts department regarding material requirements.

• Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock.

• Ensure materials meet the required quality and project specifications.

• Maintain purchase records, vendor details, invoices, and documentation.

• Track market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Resolve issues related to material shortages, delays, or quality concerns.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and budgets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• 1–5 years of experience in civil/construction purchasing (Freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply).

• Good understanding of construction materials and procurement processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP software (preferred).

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple purchase requests and meet deadlines.
