Core Responsibilities
Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, qualify, and build relationships with suppliers for raw materials (rubber, additives) and machinery.
Negotiation & Procurement: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Inventory & Production Support: Monitor stock levels (raw materials, components), forecast requirements, and coordinate with production to meet demand.
Quality & Logistics Control: Ensure purchased products meet quality standards and track orders for timely delivery.
Documentation & Reporting: Process purchase orders (POs), invoices, and maintain records in ERP systems.
Key Requirements
Experience: 0-6 years in procurement, ideally within manufacturing, chemical, or rubber industries.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Tools: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems.
Education: Degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
Industry-Specific Focus
Raw Material Sourcing: Procuring natural and synthetic rubber, curing agents, fillers, and vulcanizing agents.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring materials meet quality standards.
Tooling Cost Management: Tracking costs related to molding equipment.
