Job Description – Purchase Executive (Pharma)

Position: Purchase Executive

Department: Purchase / Procurement

Industry: Pharmaceutical

Loaction - Transport Nagar (Lucknow)

Shift timings - 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

Salary - 12-15 k in hand

Exp - 1-2 yrs

if exp is more than salary depend on Skills and interview

Key Responsibilities

1) Handle pharmaceutical purchase activities, including sourcing and procurement of medicines, products, and other required materials.

2) Manage indenting work and prepare purchase requirements based on stock availability and business needs.

3) Analyze sales and current stock levels to determine purchase requirements and place orders accordingly.

4) Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for quotations, pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and order follow-ups.

5) Maintain proper records of purchase orders, invoices, stock requirements, and vendor details.

Coordinate with internal departments and other company teams to ensure timely procurement and availability of products.

6) Monitor pending orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Follow up with vendors regarding shortages, discrepancies, damaged goods, and replacement requirements.

7) Ensure purchases are made at competitive prices while maintaining required quality and availability.

Support the company in maintaining optimum stock levels and avoiding overstocking or stock-outs.

Required Skills & Experience

Pharmaceutical purchase experience will be good advantange

Experience in indenting and purchase order processing.

Good understanding of sales + stock analysis for order planning.

Strong vendor and company coordination skills.

Good hands on experience of MS Excel and basic computer operations.

Good communication, negotiation, follow-up, and coordination skills.

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
