Job Title- Purchase Executive

Job Summary- The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, components, and services necessary for the manufacturing of sanitary ware products. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers, internal departments, and other stakeholders to ensure the procurement process is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning:
Develop and implement procurement plans based on production schedules and inventory requirements.
Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs to avoid production delays.
Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration.
Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and address any issues that arise.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
Prepare and manage purchase orders and contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Cost Management:
Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all purchased materials meet the company's quality standards.
Collaborate with the quality control team to address any issues related to incoming materials.
Inventory Management:
Work closely with the inventory management team to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce wastage and improve turnover rates.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
Prepare regular reports on procurement status, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with production, quality control, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Address any procurement-related issues that may impact production schedules.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement, such as supply chain disruptions or quality issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role, preferably in the sanitaryware and bathroom fittings manufacturing industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
