Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Sourcing Executive to identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for quality products and services at the most competitive prices. The candidate will play a key role in reducing procurement costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers through online research, trade platforms, exhibitions, and referrals

• Compare vendor quotations based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts

• Maintain and update supplier database

• Coordinate with the purchase and production teams to understand sourcing requirements

• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and new product availability

• Develop alternative sourcing strategies to avoid single-source dependency

• Ensure suppliers meet quality and compliance standards

• Track and report cost-saving opportunities from alternate sourcing

Required Skills:

• Strong sourcing and negotiation skills

• Knowledge of raw materials, components, or category-specific products

• Experience with supplier evaluation and vendor development

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP/Tally systems

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask
