Back Office Purchase Executive

Prakalp Energy Vertical Private Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to join our team.

📍 Location: Dombivli, Maharashtra

🏭 Industry: Oil & Gas | EPC | Static Equipment | Skid Packages

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchase and procurement activities for engineering projects.
• Source and evaluate vendors based on quality, cost, delivery & technical capabilities.
• Obtain and compare vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, QA/QC, Stores and Projects teams.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
• Monitor material delivery schedules and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase documents and procurement reports.
• Support cost optimization and vendor development activities.
• Ensure procurement is carried out as per project specifications and company requirements.

🔹 Requirements

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production / related field
💼 Experience in Purchase/Procurement in Engineering, EPC, Oil & Gas or Manufacturing industry preferred
📊 Good knowledge of MS Excel and procurement documentation
🤝 Strong negotiation, communication and vendor-management skills
🔧 Basic understanding of engineering materials, drawings and specifications will be an advantage.
