Job Title: Purchase Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors
Request quotations, compare prices, and negotiate contracts
Issue purchase orders and track order status
Ensure timely procurement of materials as per company requirements
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse/team
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
Handle vendor performance evaluation and resolve supply issues
Develop cost-saving strategies and improve procurement processes
Required Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good analytical and decision-making abilities
Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally)
Attention to detail and organizational skills
