Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Purchasing Assistant based in Kottayam. Responsibilities include assisting in the procurement of goods and services, managing purchase orders and purchasing processes, ensuring timely and accurate communication with vendors, and maintaining detailed purchasing records. The Purchasing Assistant will work closely with the procurement team to support operational efficiency and cost-effective purchasing strategies.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Procurement, and Purchasing strategies
Experience with managing and processing Purchase Orders
Strong Communication skills for vendor liaison and cross-functional collaboration
Analytical and organizational skills to handle multiple purchasing tasks efficiently
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or B.Sc. Electronics/ECE is beneficial
Proficiency in relevant software tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Previous experience in FTTH procurement or related roles is a plus
