Purchase Executive

A Purchase Executive manages the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining inventory records to ensure cost-effective, high-quality acquisition of goods. They often require a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or supply chain management and 1-3 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with vendors to secure favorable terms.

• Procurement Process: Processing purchase requisitions and creating purchase orders (POs).

• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

• Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels to optimize inventory costs and minimize waste.

• Reporting: Preparing daily/weekly purchase status reports for management.
