Job Summary:
The Senior Purchase Executive will manage procurement activities for interior design and fit-out projects. The role includes sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, coordinating with project and site teams, and ensuring timely delivery of materials within budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end purchasing for interior work materials such as plywood, laminate, hardware, lighting, furniture, sanitary items, and other fit-out materials. �
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers. �
Obtain quotations, prepare comparison statements, and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. �
Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery to project sites. �
Coordinate with design, project, and site teams to match material requirements with drawings, BOQs, and project schedules. �
Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement reports. �
Check material quality, handle shortages or defects, and support replacement or resolution with vendors. �
Skills Required:
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. �
Good knowledge of interior materials and finishes. �
Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage deadlines. �
Good communication, follow-up, and documentation skills. �
Experience:
Usually 3–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in interior design, fit-out, architecture, or construction. �
