Job Description

o Identify and source spare parts for machinery like pumps, aerators, and filters.

o Purchase chemicals required

o for the treatment process, such as coagulants and flocculants.

o Order new equipment or upgrades as needed for plant improvements.

· Vendor management:

o Visit vendors and suppliers to negotiate prices and manage relationships.

o Coordinate with the plant's stores and maintenance teams for spare parts procurement.

· Logistics and coordination:

o Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of all ordered items.

o Coordinate the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

o Collaborate with operations and maintenance staff to understand their needs and prioritize purchases.

· Administrative and record-keeping:

o Maintain accurate purchase records and update the procurement database.

o Track purchase budgets and control costs.

o Prepare monthly purchase reports for management.
