Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers (new and existing).

• Coordinate effectively between vendors, internal departments, manufacturers, and logistics partners.

• Monitor and manage raw material and packaging material stock levels.

• Negotiate vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.

• Process payments and vendor invoices accurately and on time.

• Develop, implement, and refine purchasing strategies.

• Maintain proper documentation and contract files for audit and reference.

• Forecast price trends, analyze cost structures, and assess operational impact.

• Prepare procurement and inventory reports using relevant software.

• Align supplier capabilities and performance with organizational goals.

• Strategize for sourcing, production capacity planning, and supply chain network management.

• Manage supply planning and coordinate production schedules across facilities.

• Evaluate and audit vendor performance through regular site visits and performance tracking.

• Improve tracking and reporting tools to enhance inventory management efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: 1–2 years in Purchase/Supply Chain/Logistics in the FMCG sector.

• Education: Any graduate. A degree or diploma in Purchase or Supply Chain Management is a plus.

• Proficient in Zoho Purchase module (Inward/Outward).

• Solid knowledge of Procurement, Vendor Management, and Demand Planning.

• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

• Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Must have experience in or be familiar with the FMCG/food processing industry.

• Should reside near Attibele or be willing to relocate.

• Immediate joiners preferred (Notice period: Max 1 week)

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
