Core Roles and Responsibilities:
Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed. Maintain strong relationships and manage vendor performance, including handling disputes.
Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate contracts, favorable payment terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Order Processing & Tracking: Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs), track deliveries, and expedite orders to meet production schedules.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and invoices. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with production, finance, and other departments to identify needs and ensure smooth procurement operations.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, new products, and industry developments to optimize procurement strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
