Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Assistant (Fresher) to support our procurement team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to start a career in supply chain and procurement within the medical diagnostics field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders.

• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotations and ensure timely delivery.

• Maintain and update records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.

• Follow up with suppliers for order confirmations, dispatch, and documentation.

• Help in comparing prices, specifications, and delivery terms to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with internal departments such as inventory, stores, and accounts.

• Ensure proper filing and documentation of all purchase-related records.

• Adhere to company policies and procurement guidelines.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of procurement/purchasing processes.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.

• Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organisation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Any internship or training experience in procurement or supply chain is an advantage.
