Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities at our Bhivpuri (Maharashtra) project site. The role involves vendor coordination, material sourcing, timely purchasing, and ensuring smooth supply of materials to support site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for materials and services.

• Request and compare quotations to ensure best price, quality, and delivery terms.

• Maintain healthy relations with vendors and contractors.

• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Material Management

• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) as per project and site requirements.

• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials to the Bhivpuri site.

• Coordinate with the store/site team for material inspection and verification.

• Maintain updated records of stock levels and procurement logs.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain all procurement documents such as quotations, POs, invoices, delivery notes, etc.

• Ensure purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.

• Track and update procurement status reports regularly.

Cost, Quality & Timeliness

• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations for key materials.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

• Ensure that purchased materials meet the required technical specifications.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Basic understanding of site materials (construction/industrial—customize if needed).

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Tally/SAP (as applicable).

• Ability to work independently at a project site environment.

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, preferably at a construction/industrial project site.

• Work Location: On-site at Bhivpuri, Maharashtra

• Working Days: (should be always available to work when ever needed )

• Reporting To: Purchase Manager / Site Manager

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
