Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate vendors based on price, quality, service, support, availability, reliability, and production and distribution capabilities.

• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure best value for the company.

• Raise purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up for on-time deliveries.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand material or service requirements.

• Track inventory to avoid overstocking or shortages and ensure reorder levels are maintained.

• Review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.

• Resolve supply issues such as delays, defects, or missed deliveries.

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.

• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.

• Evaluate supplier performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Purchase Executive, Procurement Officer, or similar role (typically 1–3 years).

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Knowledge of supply chain procedures and purchasing best practices.

• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
