Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Associate to manage procurement activities, ensure timely sourcing of materials, and maintain strong relationships with vendors. The role involves coordinating with internal departments to meet purchasing needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines
Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory/warehouse teams
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors
Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details
Handle vendor communication and resolve any discrepancies or issues
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Assist in cost analysis and budgeting for procurement activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (preferred)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle,Zoho, etc.)
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in vendor management and sourcing strategies
Understanding of inventory management principles
Familiarity with local and international procurement processes
