Job Title: Fleet Coordinator / Driver Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and proactive Fleet Coordinator to manage and coordinate our drivers and fleet operations. The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, ensuring smooth trip execution, timely communication, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily trips and vehicle assignments.
- Maintain regular communication with drivers.
- Monitor vehicle movement through GPS and tracking systems.
- Resolve driver-related issues during transit.
- Ensure drivers follow company policies and safety standards.
- Manage trip documentation, PODs, and delivery updates.
- Coordinate with customers regarding shipment status.
- Track driver attendance, leave, and availability.
- Report vehicle breakdowns and coordinate repairs.
- Maintain records of driver licenses, permits, and compliance documents.
Requirements:
- Graduate or Diploma holder (preferred).
- Experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and transport documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple drivers.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- On-time delivery rate.
- Driver utilization rate.
- Customer satisfaction.
- POD collection efficiency.
- Reduction in trip delays and driver complaints.
