Zonal Operations Head – Ahmedabad Region

Reporting to: Regional Operations Director / National Ops is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Zonal Operations Head to lead and expand its quick commerce operations across the Ahmedabad region. The role involves managing multiple cluster managers, driving key performance metrics, and ensuring seamless execution of last-mile delivery operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in quick commerce companies such as Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart, or Flipkart Minutes, with a strong understanding of hyperlocal delivery and express fulfillment models.

Key responsibilities include leading and motivating cluster managers to achieve operational excellence through effective people management, process optimization, and technology adoption. The incumbent will be responsible for critical KPIs such as order fill rate, on-time delivery, cost per order, and customer satisfaction. They will oversee manpower productivity, rider performance, and route efficiency while ensuring compliance with labor laws, safety protocols, and organizational standards.

The role also demands close collaboration with central teams for the implementation of training programs, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and tech-enabled process improvements. The Zonal Head will conduct audits to identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and prepare monthly performance reports for senior leadership. Liaising with local authorities to ensure smooth operational permissions and regulatory compliance will also be part of the mandate.

Candidates should have 8–12 years of leadership experience in quick commerce or last-mile operations, with a proven track record of scaling large teams and improving delivery performance. Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in Excel and dashboards, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role
