Key Responsibilities
Building Operations & Maintenance
Oversee the daily functioning of the facility, ensuring all operations run smoothly.
Ensure proper upkeep of common areas, building infrastructure, and utilities.
Monitor functioning of building amenities such as water supply, diesel generator (DG), lifts, fire safety systems, electricity, HVAC (if applicable), and other critical equipment.
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Team & Staff Management
Supervise housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff to ensure discipline, punctuality, and quality of work.
Assign duties, monitor attendance, and provide regular feedback and training to staff.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee outsourced facility service providers.
Tenant Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding facility-related concerns.
Ensure tenant issues and complaints are addressed promptly and effectively.
Build strong tenant relationships to maintain satisfaction and retention.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure building compliance with statutory requirements (fire safety, electrical checks, lifts inspection, etc.).
Implement health, safety, and environmental standards across the facility.
Maintain documentation of licenses, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and compliance reports.
Administration & Reporting
Manage facility budgets, petty cash, and expense reporting.
Maintain service logs, inventory of consumables and spare parts, and vendor contracts.
Prepare monthly reports on building operations, complaints resolved, and preventive maintenance completed.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Graduate in any discipline (Facility Management certification preferred).
Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience in facility management, preferably in commercial or residential buildings.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach.
Knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, DG sets, lifts, fire safety).
Ability to handle vendors and service contracts effectively.
