Oversee daily plant operations including production, warehouse, and dispatch.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and achievement of output targets.
Monitor manpower planning, machine utilization, and workflow optimization.
Implement and monitor ERP systems for accurate production and inventory tracking.
Validate material consumption, yield, wastage, and cost reports.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
Ensure implementation of SOPs and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, QA, maintenance, and finance teams.
Track KPIs and prepare MIS reports for management review.
Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Control operational costs including labor, materials, and overheads.
Lead, train, and develop the operations team.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Operations / Industrial / Supply Chain or related field
5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations
Experience in discrete manufacturing / assembly preferred
Strong understanding of production planning and plant operations
Hands-on experience with ERP / manufacturing systems
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and process optimization
Analytical skills for cost control and performance monitoring
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
