Job Description: Operations Manager (Motor Insurance)
Position: Operations Manager
Location: IST FLOOR, REAR SIDE F-2, HOUSE NO-90 NEW RAJDHANI ENCLAVE, DELHI, 110092
Experience Level: 1+ years in motor insurance operations Employment Type: Full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Policy Management & Portal Operations: o Must have in-depth knowledge of insurance portals (United, Universal, Tata, Bajaj, Magma, Digit, Zuno, etc.) to issue, renew, and manage motor insurance policies efficiently.
o Ensure accurate and timely policy creation across multiple platforms while adhering to compliance standards.
o Resolve portal-related issues by liaising with insurers and internal teams.
2. Data Management & Analysis:
o Maintain and manage large datasets related to motor insurance policies using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, data validation, etc.).
o Generate and analyse reports to track operational efficiency, identify trends, and support decision-making.
3. Process Improvement:
o Develop, implement, and refine operational workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
o Stay updated on new tools, technologies, and processes in the motor insurance domain to ensure competitive advantage.
4. Team Collaboration & Leadership: o Coordinate with sales, underwriting, claims, and customer support teams to ensure seamless operations.
o Train and mentor team members on portal usage, Excel proficiency, and motor insurance processes.
5. Compliance & Documentation:
o Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company policies in all operational activities.
o Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance checks.
Key Requirements:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in motor insurance operations, with mandatory expertise in insurance portals for creating and managing policies.
• Technical Skills: o Proficiency in using insurer portals (United, Universal, Tata, Bajaj, Magma, Digit, Zuno, etc.) is a must. o Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, macros preferred). o Familiarity with automation tools is a plus.
• Soft Skills: o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. o Proven leadership and team management experience.
