Back Office MIS Executive

Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Intern to manage, analyze, and present business data in an accurate and timely manner. The role involves preparing MIS reports, supporting management with decision-making insights, and ensuring smooth functioning of data systems and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collect, compile, and analyze business data to generate MIS reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

2. Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers, and performance monitoring tools.

3.Prepare and present accurate reports for management review, highlighting trends, variances, and actionable insights.

4. Ensure timely updating and maintenance of databases and records.

5. Collaborate with different departments to gather and validate data.

6. Automate reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency.

7. Support in audits, compliance requirements, and ad-hoc reporting.

8. Identify gaps in reporting processes and recommend improvements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Charts, Functions, etc.).

2. Knowledge of Power BI / Tableau / SQL (preferred but not mandatory).

3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

5. Strong communication and coordination abilities.

6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.

2. 0-1 years of experience in MIS/Data Analysis/Reporting role (freshers with strong Excel skills may also be considered).

3. Prior experience in [industry, e.g., insurance, finance, IT, etc.] will be an added advantage.

• It is a Full Time Back Office / Data Entry job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
