Job Summary
The Export Documentation Executive is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing all export-related documents to ensure smooth international shipments and compliance with customs, DGFT, banking, and international trade regulations. The role involves coordination with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA, banks, and overseas customers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare export documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading (BL), Airway Bill (AWB), Certificate of Origin, and other statutory documents.
Handle pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation.
Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters for timely shipment execution.
Process Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and bank-related export documents.
Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI, and international trade regulations.
Track export shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
Manage export incentives such as RoDTEP, e-BRC, and other export benefits.
Maintain shipment records, MIS reports, and documentation databases.
Resolve documentation discrepancies and shipment-related issues.
Coordinate with sales, production, accounts, and logistics teams for export planning and execution.
